I am still asked to do pencil portraits, it's a little nostalgic but always beautiful.

As a material, I use Winsor & Newton acid-free white paper with the finest grain, which is a smooth paper. I use pencils like HB for sketching and B2 and B4 pencils for drawing and creating shading.

Here, different stamps of varying thicknesses are essential, and I also use a kneaded pure eraser to create highlights.
I often turn my drawing paper over to look at the drawing in a different way, and also to draw the hair.

Finally, the design is fixed and finished with a matching mat.
