Capture Beautiful Moments

A question that is often asked is this: “how do you get that sparkle in the eyes?” As you know, I almost always start by drawing the eyes. In the eyes of this little Prince Charles Chevalier, you have not only white and black, but also colors such as ochre, green, as well as various earth tones and pink.

It is that time again: the Sterrebeek Parkfeesten, organized by the folk art group "De Rollerwagen", will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, and offer, as usual, a delightful day full of atmosphere, conviviality, live music, food truck stalls, and handmade artisanal products. You will also find me at my usual spot, the Rose Arbor, which stands centrally in the rose garden.

If you don't have anything planned yet for next weekend, Saturday, May 23rd or Sunday, May 24th, then perhaps we will see each other in Balen, the village between Mol and Leopoldsburg in the peaceful Kempen region. A two-day event is being organized here at the Sint-Jozefhoeve, also known as 'Beat the Barn' at Belgenlaan 20, 2490 Balen, where you will find around 50 local entrepreneurs, artisans, live music, bands, DJs, and about 10 food trucks.
