I would like to invite you to the 32nd Hageland Christmas Market in Tielt-Winge on December 4, from 10 am to 7 pm in "De Maere" – Breugelzaal at St Joris Winge.
Arts and crafts will be exhibited in a cozy Christmas atmosphere on this day.
Today I would like to let you enjoy this beautiful mare, that I was allowed to draw. Just like with black horses, it's the same with white horses, you not only use black or white, but also different tones of gray, beige, pink and even lilac are processed in the fur of a white horse.
Shadows are given a soft transition by using different shades of gray, while light beige and white lighten parts of the fur. Everything is gently feathered with a wide feather so that the colors form a whole.
The mane takes on a gray base color as the first coat, after which I lighten it with titanium white. You then get depths by drawing lines of dark brown and gray in the moons. Feathering gently with a large stump will give the effect of fuller hair on the mane.
