48th Hobby Fair on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October

I would like to invite you to the 48th Hobby exhibition where I exhibit my new work.

This will take place at GC Colomba in Kortenberg, next to the sports hall. Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This time of the season, I like to use the warm colors of automn. I would like to show you this pastel drawing of a fly agaric, a poisonous mushroom, but a gem to draw. After tracing the outlines with an HB pencil, I first delicately sprinkled Conté white on the mushroom cap, a series of dark pink and red colors are worked layer after layer into the mushroom cap.

The stem is a combination of light grey, ocher and white tones. Because ochre, yellow, orange and red are the colors that currently adorn autumn. I finish with all the pretty details surrounding the mushroom, like the leaves, pine cones, pine needles, and moss.
